Cystic Fibrosis: Salty Sweat, Tattoos, and Personalized Medicine

Dr. Michael Myerburg presents a history of cystic fibrosis care and provides general treatment strategies and evidence for current therapies. Dr. Myerburg also describes CFTR modulator development.

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Explain the basic pathophysiology of cystic fibrosis
  • Recognize and prevent unnecessary surgical consultation and/or procedures
  • Describe the different classes of CFTR correctors
