Advancements in TMS: Standard and Accelerated TMS Protocols

In this CME, Daniel Varon, MD, discusses how to improve knowledge of the mechanisms of action of TM and differentiate standard vs. accelerated TMS protocols and how they may be applicable. Dr. Varon also describes how recent advances in protocol design and targeting have modified therapeutic alternatives in TMS, how to evaluate the current evidence regarding the clinical efficacy, tolerability, and safety of available TMS protocols, and identify patients for whom referral for transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) treatment is appropriate.
