An Overview of Tinnitus Research

Dr. Lori Zitelli gives a presentation on tinnitus, its common characteristics, and the current standards of treatment.

Educational objectives:

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Explain why existing tinnitus research is difficult to generalize to all subjects
  • Improve their management of patients with tinnitus by becoming familiar with the evidence-base behind two commonly used methods of helping patients to deal with their tinnitus
