Regional Peritoneal Therapies: Rationale for CRS-HIPEC and Novel Therapeutic Strategies

M. Haroon Choudry, MD, defines peritoneal surface malignancies (PSM), cytoreductive surgery (CRS) and hyperthermic introperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEEC). Dr. Choudry also discusses concepts related to CRS-HIPEC for PSM and appropriate patent selection for novel therapeutic strategies.
