Reimagining Cardiac Rehabilitation as a Resilience-Enhancing Program for Recovery
In this CME, Daniel Forman, MD, explores strategies for communicating the value of cardiac rehabilitation and optimizing cardiovascular health in older adults. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the concept of resiliency as it applies to an aging population and learn practical approaches for integrating cardiac rehabilitation into their care plans to improve patient outcomes.
Educational Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Explain cardiac rehabilitation and the importance of improving cardiovascular health in an aging population.
- Increase their knowledge of the concept of "resilience" to apply to the aging population.
- Implement cardiac rehabilitation in an aging patient population to improve patient outcomes.
