Gastroenterology Digest Winter 2023

In this CME, members of our faculty discuss how to recognize the epidemiology, clinical presentation, and imaging findings of porcelain gallbladder, the presenting symptoms of bowel endometriosis, the utility of advanced endoscopy in the diagnosis and treatment of liver disease, and explain the rationale for and basics of the FORTE trial to patients and colleagues. 

Educational Objectives 
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Recognize the epidemiology, clinical presentation, and imaging findings of porcelain gallbladder
  • Recognize presenting symptoms of bowel endometriosis 
  • Explain the rationale for and basics of the FORTE trial to patients and colleagues
  • Discuss the utility of advanced endoscopy in the diagnosis and treatment of liver disease
